Public Meeting
The City of Maynardville is pleased to announce two upcoming public meetings to discuss the proposed development of access paths, parking and a new restroom facility at Liberty Park. The purpose of these meetings is to provide information to the community and to obtain public input and suggestions regarding the City’s 2026 LPRF grant application. Residents and interested parties are encouraged to participate in one or both of the following sessions:
In Person Public Meeting (City Hall)

Virtual Public Meeting (Facebook)
- Date: Wednesday, March 18, 2026

Public Meeting
The City of Maynardville will be conducting a Public Meeting on March 10, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Maynardville City Hall, 125 Johnson Road, Maynardville, Tennessee 37807. The purpose of this meeting is to present information on the City’s application for a State Revolving Fund loan in the amount of $1,446,382 for a Drinking Water meter replacement project. The impact of this project on monthly user rates will be discussed.

Employment Opportunity - Wastewater Collection Operator I or II
The City of Maynardville is now accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Collection Operator I or II. This position performs fieldwork and daily operational tasks for the Sewer Collections Department under the supervision of the Sewer Collections Supervisor. Duties include, but are not limited to, sewer line repair, lift station inspection and maintenance, and other related work. Applications accepted until position is filled. The City of Maynardville is now accepting applications for the position of Water Distribution Operator I or II. This position performs fieldwork and daily operational tasks for the Utility Department and is supervised by the Utility Director. Duties include water and sewer line repair, equipment checks, and other responsibilities related to the City’s water infrastructure. Applications accepted until position is filled. Police Department - Scams
The Maynardville Police Department will be joining forces with the Federal Trade Commission in the protection of the community against Scams as many of us are care givers of our loved ones we need to protect them from becoming victims of scams.

Customers Requesting New Service
Print and complete the 4-page New Customer Packet. In addition, we will either need a rental agreement or a warranty deed showing the names and the renters/owners. We will also need a copy of the front and back of your photo ID and anyone in the house over the age of 18. Then email the information we need. The non-refundable service fee for new customer accounts is $75.00. This fee can be paid with a credit card, check or money order. Once we have all the completed paperwork and the fee payment, service will begin with 24 hours.
